Making A Purchase Online
We aim to make your chocolates online shopping very simple for you. When you wish to add a product to your shopping basket simply click on the words "BUY".
When you have finished your selections, click on "View Cart" and you will be able to view and confirm your purchases before you select to go to the checkout page. Once there you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the online order.
Payment Methods for Online Chocolates and Products
We accept credit or debit card payments by Mastercard, Visa. Debit Card & Electron and Solo. All payments are in GB Pounds. All payments and payment details are made through the independent and secure online Paypal portal.
When we have confirmation that your online order payment is received, this is to indicate that we have received your online order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. Only when we send you direct email confirmation from ourselves that will then indicate acceptance of your online order. We have included this term to protect both parties in the case that a mistake has been made by either party, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.
In case we are unable to fullfill your online order request, we will contact you to cancel your online order and refund you any payment you made through the Paypal portal in full.
Chocolates By Post, Product Shipping, Handling and Delivery
All our delivery charges included in the Paypal shopping cart are for UK mainland delivery only.
For destinations outside the UK mainland, please contact us by phone, fax our email with the details prior to placing the online order with us and we will then be able to send you a quotation for your specific Delivery Charges. Then you can have the choice of placing your online order and pay any additional delivery charges directly to us.
Our standard delivery By Post within the UK mainland is either by registered first class post or by parcel courier delivery dependant upon size, weight and value of the package.
As standard, for the majority of our listed products within our typical stock quantities, we would expect delivery to be made to the required destination within 3 to 5 working days from when we accept the online order with our online order confirmation to you.
For customised products, products that we make or purchase to order, or for quantities outside our typical stock levels, we will advise you of our proposed delivery time scale prior to accepting your online or delivery by post order. You can then choose to accept the proposed delivery or cancel your online or by post order. If you choose to cancel your online or by post order, we will refund any payment you made in full.
Please be aware that Royal Mail First Class Packet Post is not a guaranteed service.
Royal Mail First Class Packet Post service can take up to 15 working days to complete a delivery, although this is quite unusual.
Delivery with a courier will require a signature to confirm receipt. Should you not be in to receive your delivery, or have provided additional instructions for delivery, should you not be able to receive your parcel, a redelivery charge of ?10 may be charged. You can always collect the parcel from your nearest depot.
Should your online or by post order be required by a specific date, please email or call us to let us know and we will endeavour to meet your deadline.
When your online or by post order is despatched, we will send you confirmation that despatch had taken place. For all online or by post orders that are not received, we require the failure of delivery to be reported to us in writing within 28 days of the date of purchase. Failure to do so will forfeit any subsequent claim.
Credit Card Security
We use the independant internet payment portal at Paypal.
We are not aware of any cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.
When your checkout is completed, you will be directed to pay via Paypal and you will be directed to the Paypal website for secure payment processing. Credit card numbers are encrypted by Paypal. They are not held in clear text on any web site. You will receive a confirmation from Paypal that your payment has been processed.
Please be aware that at no point does Choc's Corner pass any details regarding your credit or debit card to any party not directly involved with your secure payment.
Guarantee & Returns Policy
If you change your mind about your non-food purchase, you can return it within 14 days of despatch in its original despatch packaging in "Unopened Condition" and we will refund the product price. This will not include your postage costs.
Non-food Products that have been removed from their original despatch packaging or have been used will not be eligible for return.
PLEASE DO NOT RETURN ANY ITEM WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST AND RECEIVING EMAIL CONFIRMATION FROM US.

Please note that we cannot accept returns for any food items.
We can not accept responsibility for the safe return of any goods. Therefore it is advisable that a proof of postage is obtained, should any returned goods fail to reach us, this will aid in any claim you may wish to make directly with your chosen courier.
Limitation of Liability
Choc's Corner is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or other damages (including, but not limited to, economic losses, lost profits, lost revenues, or lost data) arising out of the access to or inability to access this Website even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Legal
Every care has been taken to describe items as accurately as possible, however slight variations in handmade and purchased goods may occur. All product sizes quoted are approximate. Choc's Corner shall not be liable for any consequential loss whether this arises from breach of duty in contract or any other way. Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights.
These User Terms are governed by the laws of England, and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
